State Fair Wine Garden

Nestled in a beautiful setting under the shade of trees and canopies with a landscape of grapes, flowers, and native plants, visitors to the State Fair Wine Garden will find a serene but engaging atmosphere complete with generous seating, authentic wine barrels and a spacious tasting bar.

The Save Mart Supermarkets Wine Country at the State Fair Wine Garden features many of the award winning wines from the California State Wine Competition. More than 400 California wineries are represented and more than 500 individual wines are available for sampling.

Visitors to the Wine Garden will also have the opportunity to purchase souvenir glasses, the official California Wine Magazine, wine related novelties and a great variety of cheeses, fruit, bread and other delicacies to compliment your favorite varietals.

Winery of the Day

On select days, the State Fair honors a different California winery as “Winery of the Day.” Visitors can taste and purchase the specialty wines that are provided by the Winery of the Day as well as other award-winning wines. Cases of wines may also be purchased through an arrangement with Save Mart.
